Call for papers
Proposals are requested for presentations to be included in the programme of ECVD 2010. These should be submitted by email or using the online form to arrive on or before 31st March 2010.
During April 2010 submissions are assessed for relevance, accuracy and appropriateness by the congress scientific committee and authors are expected to be notified whether their submissions have been accepted during May.
Speakers (but not poster presenters) will be refunded their main congress registration fee. Please note that when registering for congress the registration fee will have to be paid, but this will be refunded in due course.
If you are interested in presenting at the congress and would like to start preparing before the call for papers is released, the following is an outline of what has been requested in the past:
- Review lectures, Clinical studies, Research studies (15 or 25 minute speaking time)
- Case reports (10 or 15 minutes speaking time)
- Posters
- Proposals for future congresses (10 minutes)
The subject should be directly relevant to veterinary (including equine and exotic) dentistry.
The congress organisers will provide facilities for making electronic presentations (i.e. using Powerpoint® ), including the necessary computers and video projectors.
It is recommended that presentations are taken to congress on USB key drives with a CDrom backup. All presentations should be uploaded to the presentation computers and checked the day before the presentation is to be made.
In special circumstances the organisers may permit presenters to use their own laptops, for example if specical software is required or if they make use of video clips.
